Dr. Beth Achille joins Winding Creek Animal Hospital from the northwest suburbs where she practiced medicine at several other small animal hospitals in the area since May of 2014.  After receiving her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Chemistry from Northern Illinois University, Dr. Beth Achille received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from University of Illinois-Champaign. Upon graduating in 2014, she has gained extensive experience in complicated medical and surgical cases as well as routine preventative medicine cases. Additionally, she has had the opportunity to build her surgical techniques and abilities through extensive and progressive continuing education courses.

As the mother of 2 young children, a sweet senior dog and a recently adopted gentle cat, there is always someone around to benefit from Dr. Beth Achille’s innately compassionate nature.  She and her husband love to travel, with a particular fondness of white sandy beaches and any opportunity for a spontaneous adventure.  When the day is done, she can usually be found snuggled up with her animals in front of the latest documentary release, or planning outings with her large, extended family.
