Associate Veterinarian – Starting July 21, 2025

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Jenna Sanders to the Winding Creek Animal Hospital family! Starting July 21, 2025, 

Dr. Sanders brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and genuine compassion to our team.

A graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine (Class of 2020), Dr. Sanders has spent the last few years gaining broad experience in veterinary medicine while moving around. Now, she’s excited to be settling back in her hometown with her fiancé—and we're just as excited to have her close by!

Dr. Sanders has special interests in soft tissue surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, animal behavior, and exotic animal medicine. Her multifaceted expertise is matched by her dedication to individualized patient care and strengthening the human-animal bond.

At home, she shares life with her two beloved pets: Albus, 3-year-old domestic longhair cat, and Chase, her 10-year-old German Shepherd/Husky/Pit bull/Boxer mix.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Sanders enjoys hiking, insect collecting, agility training with Chase, and a variety of creative pursuits including crocheting, painting, and drawing.
