Sara was born and raised in Marengo, Illinois, and now resides in Lake in the Hills with her husband, their one-year-old daughter, Robin, and their pets—a dog named Rue and two cats, Winnie and Dexter.

With nearly a decade of experience in animal care, Sara began her career working at an animal shelter while completing her Veterinary Technician program. She graduated from Rockford Career College in 2019 and went on to work at VCA Noyes for two and a half years. In 2021, she joined the Veterinary Specialty Center, where she worked in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, expanding her skills and knowledge in specialized care.

In November, Sara joined the Winding Creek Animal Hospital team to be closer to family. She looks forward to bringing her expertise, compassion, and dedication to the pets and clients she serves.
